Peter Wolff RYT

Yoga Bio

Peter Wolff took his first yoga class in 1998 as an alternative to exercising at the gym, and unexpectedly discovered the well of wisdom and experiential growth inherent in the practice of yoga.  After relocating from Los Angeles to San Francisco in 2000, Peter began studying with teachers of the Iyengar school, finding that the detailed instruction in alignment took his practice to the next level.  In the years before discovering Anusara yoga in 2004, he rounded out his practice with restorative yoga and Ayurvedic teachings.  By early 2006, Peter began to give more of his time to yoga and music.  Since then he has studied and practiced more than 400 hours with Anusara founder John Friend and certified teachers in Los Angeles and San Francisco.  He began teaching to make the practice and benefits of yoga accessible to more people.  Peter is also co-producing Voice of Life, an album with songs that invite people to experience the healing potential of music and the power of their own voice.  He currently lives in Oakland, CA
